Your information stays useful and proportionate.

scot.dev provides business-to-business workflow and AI advisory services in Scotland. For privacy questions, email hello@scot.dev.

What we collect

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, business details, email address and a description of the workflow you want to improve. During a paid audit we may also process call recordings, transcripts and business documents you provide.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, decide whether the service is a fit, deliver contracted work, keep financial records and improve our assessment process. We do not sell personal information.

AI processing

We may use carefully selected AI services to analyse material supplied for an audit. We minimise the information shared, apply human review to every recommendation and agree any unusually sensitive data handling before work begins. Do not send special-category or confidential client data during the free leak check.

Retention and your rights

Enquiries that do not proceed are normally deleted within 12 months. Client records are retained only as long as required for delivery, legal and accounting purposes. You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing us. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
